The
last day of the QT Fashion Week kicked off on Sunday afternoon with
Lisa Brown. Although an established designer, it was definitely the
quietest event of the week with only the front row being filled (i think
people were holding out for Nicola Finetti and the wrap party in the evening!). Having said that, it was good for me having such a prime view to marvel at the gorgeous creations!
A
real hippy vintage vibe was felt throughout the entire collection which
featured a lot of feathers, crochet and tassels. Both casual day wear
and head turning evening dresses were showcased during the event, really
showing that Lisa Brown can successfully create both. My favourite pieces were the first two pictures below. I loved the rich turquoise colour, and the use of peacock feathers were an unusual way to liven up an outfit!
